The Silver Festival is a 5-day series of events to celebrate older adults and acknowledge their important role and contribution to Whangārei.
The Silver Festival is supported by community groups and clubs in the District. Each event offers an opportunity for seniors to explore what’s available, try something new, connect and make new friends, be active, get creative and most importantly have fun!
The Silver Festival is facilitated by our Positive Ageing Advisory Group and supported by Whangarei District Council, the Northland Voluntary Welfare Trust and Creative Northland.
