This workshop is an introduction to the Maramataka / Maori Calendar and planting by its moon phases.

​As a group, learn how to save seeds from your vegetable plants that have gone to seed; seed swap - please feel free to bring along any seeds you have ample of to share with others. We will have a go at creating seed labels as well as discuss how to keep and store those seeds.​

What: Intro to the Maramataka, seed saving and labelling.

Adults only. Beginners level no expertise needed. Cuppa tea and refreshments supplied come celebrate Matariki with us.

Please note: You are only allowed to be booked into one subsidised workshop. Booking system will go live 10 days prior to the workshop starting. If you are unable to make the workshop please let us know immediately so we can let someone else go instead.
