Hye Rim Lee White Rose outdoor screening at Te Pae

Scape Public Art is bringing the summery vibes to central Ōtautahi on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 November for the opening weekend of Season 2022 Sweat Equity.

For the opening weekend only, Korean-New Zealand artist Hye Rim Lee’s 3D animation artwork White Rose will be on display outside Te Pae. You will be able to meet and mingle with Hye Rim and the Scape Public Art team, and our friends at Cocomutt Ice Cream will be on site from 11am-2pm on Saturday 5 with three special White Rose-themed ice cream flavours to choose from. Cocomutt specialises in ice creams for the dogs too, so bring your canine companions!

Grab a spot on the lawn, enjoy the sunshine and take a chance to say hello to one of our featured artists for the season at this special celebration of her work.

White Rose will be playing from 3pm-11pm Thursday 3 November, 6am-11pm Friday & Saturday, and from 6am-5pm Sunday.
