Many people think that meditation means: sitting calmly in a quiet place with perfect conditions and a
peaceful smile on their face, thinking of nothing, having an empty mind, and looking for a particular,
special state of mind like peace, joy, bliss.

Or they think of meditation as strong concentration, and something you do only on a sitting cushion as a formal practice.

Meditation means different things for different people and there are countless styles & techniques.

In this retreat we will use meditation as a way to look at our mind, understand how it works, and train it
skillfully so that it becomes stable, pliable and workable.

You will learn that you can meditate anytime, anywhere and that anything can become a support instead
of an obstacle for your meditation practice.

We will practice sitting meditation, walking meditation & gentle Qi Gong based movement.

What to expect:
- Learn how to sit properly, how to set up a meditation practice, and apply the insights in daily life
- Experience the joy, contentment, and peacefulness of a calm and steady mind
- Awaken the qualities of the heart
- Get a taste of what it means to be in retreat

This program is suitable for people new to meditation and for those who are already practicing meditation
it is an opportunity to deepen one’s understanding and personal practice.

Note: this program will be conducted in silence.

“The biggest gift you can give yourself is learning how to meditate” – Sogyal Rinpoche
