Big, 'BIG' weekend coming up for Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August - dubbed International Blues Music Weekend.

Firstly:- Saturday 6 August is International Blues Anniversary Day and just happens to be the 10th Anniversary since the event was established in 2013. For short, IBMD means four HBS NZ acts from 1pm in Biddy's front bar:

1pm: Mark 'Fatt Max' Hill from Auckland
2pm: The Dirty Tones joining us from Auckland
3pm: Rehaab from Tauranga
4pm: Darcy Perry, Robert Lock and Daron MacDonald and Co.

Watch the HBS Facebook pages for more information on these acts and read their bio's.

LIVE music, free entry (although a gold coin is appreciated), special raffles for the day so bring some extra cash (gold coins preferably), and merchandise. The day is always child friendly and there is a good band of people there.

Secondly:- Sunday 7 August Toni Swain is in concert in the back bar at Biddy's from 5pm with support band Darcy Perry, Robert Lock, Daron MacDonald and Co. performing from 7-8pm.

This will be a great gig. We haven't seen Toni perform for several years due to COVID, this will be a real treat. Toni will be supported by our very own Maciek Hrybowicz on guitar.

Door sales apply: Members $15 and $20 for non-members. Please provide membership cards at the door for the concessions.

Raffles and merchandise available so please bring some extra cash.
