Come all ye and lap up the soft finger picking guitar and resonant vocals of alt-folk musician Greta O’Leary and the gutsy harmonies, original songwriting and storming fiddle of trad-folk duo Laldy.

Greta is a Pōneke-based songwriter and musician whose spacious and pervasive sound is laced with dark humour and relatable insight, creating gentle-yet-poignant offerings that bend the folk genre to her own plain, an unmistakably rare sound that is unique to her.

Greta is celebrating the release of her debut EP (out this November) by traversing our fair lands to sing for you all. According to her, singing and feeling is all that's ever really made sense. A fact that is unmistakable after receiving NZ on Air funding, a debut video that has already amassed over 140,000 views, and mentorships from the inimitable Liz Stokes (The Beths), Sonny Southon and Frances Dickenson.

Laldy (adverb): "To undertake an action with gusto or great enthusiasm."
Laldy brings to the stage a contemporary take on traditional folk. With gutsy harmonies, original songwriting and storming fiddle, Rachel Evans and Donald James create a sound bigger than the sum of their parts.

With Welsh and Scottish roots and a base in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, they are inspired by Irish, Scandinavian, Scots and French Canadian music traditions as they wind their way across the seas. Strumming a selection of sweet songs, modal grooves and trad bangers, Laldy are a fresh new offering to the New Zealand folk and festival scene.
