Come on down to Titahi Bay and join Mountains to Sea Wellington for the first of our free summer community snorkel events.

This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to see the beauty of our underwater world. Take a peek at the fascinating array of marine organisms that live right here on our doorstep, out of sight, just under the surface.

We will have local ocean experts joining us on dry land to share their knowledge on seaweed, sponges and many other amazing creatures found along our coastline.

Beginner snorkelers are encouraged (but you must be comfortable in the water).

We provide all the gear free of charge and will also buddy you up with an experienced snorkel guide to facilitate the best experience possible. Our guides will get you kitted out, answer any fishy questions you might have and generally look after you whilst you take a dive into the salt and spray.

Important information and updates, including location changes and postponement due to weather, will be provided on the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1074174493279442

What to bring: Togs, towel, sunhat, warm clothes, drink bottle and snacks.

Please note the minimum age for snorkelling is 8 years, and children below 16 must be accompanied by a snorkelling adult.
Last registrations at 3pm.

You can get to Titahi Bay Beach via Beach Rd or Bay Drive, but we'll be set up at the Bay Drive entrance.

This is where our registration tent will be: https://goo.gl/maps/AjWJWhpGeaBPy5rt9
