Another year of uncertainty, stress and heightened tensions will soon come to an end. Let's launch ourselves into 2022 with two days of community spirit, asanas, meditation and skills to improve our wellbeing, both physically and spiritually for the year ahead.

Chaitanya Deva (Chai), co-owner of Kindred Studio in Nelson will be the principle yogi teaching eight hours over the two day retreat. Chai will be teaching a detailed Yin Yoga for Postural Realignment Workshop split over two afternoons, plus a Power Vinyasa session.

Chai has undertaken many pilgrimages to India to deepen his meditation practice. He has gained years of experience in applied anatomy, therapeutic massage, reiki master, designs and delivers Kindreds Level 1 & 2 Teacher Training programs and is the co-director of Evolve Festival.

James Wvinner is a 30-year practitioner of yoga and will be co-hosting 'Yoga's Three Cores'.

The first core - the physical core
The second core - breath/pranayama
The third core - the mind

James came to the practice through a near-fatal accident and used yoga to heal himself. A 500 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher, James teaches a heart centred blend of pranayama, yoga asana and meditation. A keen martial artist, James also is an accomplished artist, photographer and film director.

Carmena Su began practising Ashtanga in 1998 and has since been a life-long student. Her passion is to enhance the life force within each and every one of us, using yoga, strength training, functional core training and meditation to unlock and align mind, body and spirit.
Carmena will be co-hosting 'Yoga's Three Cores'.

Nicky Hewitt explains the principles of Ayurveda during a presentation What is Ayurveda?
The presentation explains the principles which can assist you to take charge of your life free of disease and to enjoy stability and happiness. A Q & A session follows the presentation.

Each student will receive a twelve-minute head and shoulder massage from local experienced therapists.

Morning teas and lunches are included.
