The Adam Spring School is coming to Nelson this September, showcasing Aotearoa’s rising young stars of string and piano performance in two sensational Finale Concerts.
Rescheduled from February, the 2022 Adam Spring School brings together young musicians from across the motu for five days of world-class coaching by the inimitable New Zealand String Quartet, with guest pianist-in-residence, Diedre Irons. In its 28-year history, the school has seen more than 375 young musicians attend over years and holds an impressive alumni list, many going on to achieve international acclaim.
Six chamber music ensembles will take to the stage to perform masterworks of the great composers, featuring selected movements by Beethoven, Brahms, Grieg, Mozart, Schubert and Shostakovich.
These concerts are always a highlight of the musical year - show your support for our next generation of musicians, and get set to be 'wowed'!
