F.A.W.C! Sunday Cycle with Nici Wickes

Join everyone’s favourite foodie and cookbook author Nici Wickes for a culinary cycling adventure through the stunning Cape Kidnappers coastline and along the Tukituki River.
After a morning coffee and a snack, we’ll saddle up at Coastal Wine Cycles in Haumoana before heading off for a relaxing bike trip with food and wine stops along the way – whitebait fritters, a light lunch and wine tasting at a beautiful Te Awanga vineyard and more – as Nici shares recipes and tales of her cycling trips around the world.
With super comfy bikes, a flat trail and a relaxed pace, the dress code is whatever you want: Lycra, frocks, flares . . . whatever you’re comfortable biking in!

Ticket price includes full day bike hire with Coastal Wine Cycled, guided tour by Nici Wickes through Haumoana and Te Awanga, lunch at a winery matched to a glass of wine, whitebait fritters cooked by Nici Wickes, recipe shared and other treats along the way.

Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C!
