"People can end up living solo for any number of reasons — widowed, separated, kids have left home . . .In my case, I’ve never been partnered for long nor had children, so I’m damn near an expert at living alone!" writes Nici Wickes in A Quiet Kitchen.

Singleton or smugly loved-up, we don't care! Everyone is welcome to enjoy the vibe of being free of responsibilities, sober and singularly fabulous! Nici Wickes, author of the incredibly honest and heart-warming cookbook, A Quiet Kitchen, invites us to share a fantastic evening celebrating solo travelling, getting comfortable with dining out when there's just you, cooking for one, having pudding for breakfast because you can and all the rest. She's teaming up with Hawke's Bay writer/MC Fiona Fraser to share her hilarious, moving and sometimes downright tragic stories of enjoying, or not, travel, food and life adventures without a plus one.

Delectable food from her cookbook will be served along with snazzy alcohol-free cocktails, all to be enjoyed before you settle into your seat at the charming Olive Shed, Black Barn for what promises to be an entertaining evening.

Nici guarantees you will find love and appreciation, for YOUR SELF, before the end of the night!

Ticket price includes selection of tapas and non-alcoholic drinks
