Join us at Marlborough Museum to celebrate the birthday of New Zealand's first studio potter (born in Blenheim). There will be a display of her work, and a presentation from Steve Austin, Marlborough Museum Executive Director, with emphasis on new additions to the collection.

This year will be the first year we will award the Elizabeth Lissaman Award to a Marlborough Potter on her birthday.

The acclaimed landmark publication about Elizabeth Lissaman "Elizabeth Lissaman New Zealand's pioneer studio potter" by Jane Vial with Steve Austin will be on sale with a Special Price of $30 on the day.
