Drawing Your Way

Do you wish you could draw better? I hear you. I wish I could sing. The good news is, I can teach you to draw.

This workshop is designed to enhance your drawing skills as well as help develop your own unique style. While learning about the fundamental elements of design and drawing techniques we will focus on key concepts including line, shape, form and value through a series of exercises. You will be challenged to try a few different approaches to drawing, from classic academic to free-flowing fast sketching techniques, to help you find your best approach and preferred medium.

We also encourage you to practice and further explore drawing techniques and design concepts in your own way setting challenges for projects with self-selected subjects and media.
Throughout the workshop you will find a balance of instruction and freedom of self-directed study as your skills develop.

Materials
A3 sketching paper
Pencils – HB or 2B and 9B
Sharpener
Eraser
Any and every drawing medium you are familiar with or would like to explore
I may recommend a few more materials during the workshop, but they will be optional.
