Olveston at Six continues the tradition of intimate chamber music concerts in the drawing room of the Theomin family home. The series presents some of Dunedin's finest professional musicians alongside guest artists from further afield.
The series is created for the festival by Tom McGrath. Since returning from Germany in 2003, he has performed as soloist and collaborative pianist throughout New Zealand. He joined the staff of the School of the Performing Arts of Otago in 2004.

A recital based around a Puerto Rican proverb from internationally acclaimed Australian soprano Emma Pearson. Currently based in Wellington, she is the youngest opera singer to have ever received the honorary title of Kammersängerin. She is joined by pianist Terence Dennis.
