It’s Conservation Week from September 5th to 11th 2022. The Bluff Hill Motupōhue Environment Trust is planning to get 20,000 native plants into the ground during the week. We need volunteers!

There are going to be planting events every day and on multiple sites around Bluff. Our priority is to put native plants in the 20m fringe around the Bluff township. By doing this, we’ll prevent gorse from growing and bring native birds closer to your backyards.

We’ll have planting activities suitable for all ages and abilities—we encourage schools to participate. You’ll learn how to plant natives that will thrive!

More details of where and when will be publicised in late August. Meanwhile, please email or pop into the office if you’re interested in volunteering.
