Community Tree Planting

Please come along and join in this community event to celebrate Arbor Day by planting trees in Unsworth Reserve.

What better way to be the change you want to see in the world?

The Auckland Greens are your hosts for tree planting on Arbor Day.

Upper Harbour Local Board member Nicholas Mayne is providing the seedlings for planting and will be mucking in with everyone else.

Please bring along gloves and a spade. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear as there is gorse at the site.

We will be meeting at 1pm at Unsworth Reserve pond area.

There are two ponds and a dry pond (stream with a dam that becomes a pond when it floods). We will be planting in the dry pond.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the day. Let's hope the weather is good!
