Central Districts Poultry & Pigeon Club Meet-up and Sale

See also the event link on our website. The Sale will include a range of heritage breeds, including some rare/hard to find (a catalogue will be published on our website with breeds/prices, nearer the time)

MORE INFO: The sale and casual meet up portion of the gathering will start from 10am.

SELLERS INFO: If you would like to bring down some of your own birds to sell, please email members.cdppc@outlook.com, call (021 103 0105) or message Sofianna asap with what breed, age, *price (specify if its for each bird or per group and see note below) and how many you are bringing. That way we will know how many cages we will need and can ideally make up some labels too.

We will need to know this info by this Friday 11th Feb 8pm latest please (ideally before). We would prefer any Sale Birds to be purebred and while they don’t have to be show bird standard, let's aim for reasonable quality please. Crossbreds are OK but must be clearly labelled as such and priced accordingly.

*20% of the sales to go to the Club, so please bear that in mind when pricing them. Any birds not sold must be removed by pack up time.

BUYERS INFO: Bring a crate/box if you wish but we will also have boxes. We will publish a list of bird breeds and prices in the run up to the sale (see our website). If anyone wants to come down and buy birds, but in a minimal contact ‘take-away’ style way, Sofianna can arrange this for you.

UPDATE RE COVID - VACCINE PASSES now required. We will have an event-specific QR poster for scanning. We will tape off the Sales Bird viewing area and might limit numbers in at a time if it gets busy. If you don't have a vaccine pass but see a bird in our catalogue you would like to buy, contact us so we can arrange a 'takeaway'.

The COVID situation is fast-moving, so please look out for any additional instructions from us nearer the time. We are keen to still go ahead, but as safely as possible.
