Celebrate Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day) with your loved one over a creative experience of making a calligraphy painting with ink and brush on a special Xuan paper from China.

Qixi falls upon the seventh day of the seventh month in the Chinese Lunar calendar. This holiday celebrates the legend of the cowherd and the weaver girl, whose forbidden love has been inspiring couples for thousands of years. This year it falls on the 4th Aug 2022.

Experience the romantic atmosphere, warm up with a tea and hand made Qixi cookie special for the festival, embed your wishing to the artwork with your own hand, or take a moment to light incense for love.

We provide all the materials you need (high-quality Xuan paper, Chinese Ink and color paints, brushes, examples). All you need to bring is your creative spirit. At the end of the session you will leave with your own calligraphy painting ready to frame.

No previous painting experience necessary. Get your creative juices flowing and enjoy the experience.

Tea and Qixi cookies are included in the ticket price, please bring your own tea cup.
