Canterbury Masters Figure Skating Open Invitation Champs

Come and watch some of the South Island's best figure skaters in action on Sunday. Many adult skaters also skaters from Kiwi Skate skills to Advanced Novice Free skate, Solo Dance, Stroking and teams events Creative Performance, and Synchro Skills are all taking part. They will be Jumping, spinning, twirling out on the ice in glamorous costumes. There are also the fun team events where Club members do their routines. Come along and support the skaters some of whom this will be the first time that have competed in a competition.
If you want to keep warm then you need to wear warm clothing jackets, hats, gloves, etc. Good idea to bring along a cushion and rug and be really comfy. Being in an ice rink is like being in a fridge. The good thing is hot drinks and food is available to purchase at Zamboni's cafe.

Most of the adults skaters are members of the Canterbury Masters Figure Skating Club and participate regularly in the weekly Coffee Club Session on Thursdays 9.30 - 10.30am during the school terms.
