Exhibition open from 29th January – 11th February
Opening Night + Artist talk: 29th January, 7pm (food and drinks provided)
Children interact and experience space around them in different ways than adults do. Where adults view function and rules, children see ambiguity and possibility. Society’s rules and labels are not a concept they understand from an early age, the society they grow up in instils these rules over time. Because of this freedom, they view the space around them as much more malleable to their needs, full of possibilities.
This body of work takes inspiration from how children view the world and creates speculative architecture that allows adults to experience the same freedom in interaction with architecture around them. This is what I call Architectures of Possibilities.
Please note, vaccine passes are required for the opening night event.
