Always a big night at the New Edinburgh Folk Club, the closest Sunday to the 4th of July is American Night.
The night’s programme features Dunedin’s ex-pat American musicians, quite a talented lot. This year, the programme is curated by Terry Ebeling who will also be performing.
Other performers, (roughly in alphabetical order) are Hyram Ballard (Dr Twang), John Dodd (eligible as he lived in Colorado as a kid, and was born on the 4th of July) John Egenes, Kirk Hamilton, and Kathryn Olcott.
