Ahiahi - Violin/Viola and Percussion - ISCM/ACL 2022 WNMD

This event marks the arrival of the ISCM2022 World New Music Days in Ōtautahi Christchurch, and the beginning of the Asian Composers League (ACL) Festival – both coming to Christchurch for the first time! International visitors and local audiences will come together to discover new works from Slovenia, South Korea, and a newly commissioned work by Marcus Jackson (NZ) who won the ACL Young Composer prize at the previous festival. Opening with a formal Mihi Whakatau, our visitors will be welcomed to the city and the start of the four days of double festival in Christchurch.
