Advanced Non-native Bird Taxidermy - Two Day Workshop: CANCELLED

Join Wellington-based artist Antoinette Ratcliffe for a workshop in taxidermy at Zealandia over two days - March 5th and March 12th.

In this class, she will demonstrate advanced techniques of non-native bird taxidermy and help you create your own piece.

Together you'll discuss the ethics involved in taxidermy, health and safely elements, along with specific species behaviour and anatomy considerations to create the final mount. This class would be ideal for students who have already attended Antoinette’s Introduction to Taxidermy class, but new students are also welcome.

The workshop will be held in the Pāteke room on the second floor of the Zealandia Visitor Centre.
