Accounting - The Basics

Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

This course runs with a weekly 7-9pm class over four weeks.

A course fee subsidy is provided with funding from the Tertiary Education Commission for NZ citizens and residents and their partners. Conditions apply so check our website for more information.

Understanding accounting concepts will help you successfully read, create and comprehend financial reporting. You will gain useful practical knowledge of accounting principles and methods. Prior accounting knowledge is not a prerequisite.

This course is a useful lead in for MYOB and Xero Accounting software students who have had no prior accounting experience.
