The Epic Swim is a recreational open water swimming event which is held each year on the idyllic setting of Lake Taupo, and is staged in conjunction with the New Zealand Open Water Swimming Championships.
There are races for all ages and ability levels. From 1km for beginner swimmers and 2.5km races for intermediate swimmers, to the 5km and 10km races for the more advanced.
