12 Bar presents: Tasha Wolf & Leviticus Genes

Tasha Wolfe is an Otautahi/ Christchurch born Songwriter and Musician. She started out playing the odd cover at open mics 3 years ago and is currently the lead singer/ rhythm guitarist and songwriter in local band Aura. Her song writing style is unique and varied drawing on blues, punk, rock, metal and folk styles. Tasha’s onstage persona has been likened to artists such as Joan Jett and Suzy Quatro.

For this set at 12 Bar Tasha is joined by Otautahi/ Christchurch based songwriter and Musician Leviticus Genes.

Leviticus’s songs are based on personal experiences and many feature a Christchurch theme which would be best described as the bastard child of folk/ country/ blues and rock.

This set will include a mixture of original songs from both artists played on guitar and cajon.
