Youth and Sign

Youth Week is all about showing support for the beautiful diversity of young people in our society. Youth aged 12-24 are invited to join in with this fun New Zealand Sign Language learning session.

Tasman District Libraries is proud to host a range of youth-focused events during Youth Week this year.

This fun, hands-on learning session is for young people aged 12-24 who would like to learn about New Zealand Sign Language. We will learn to sign letters and words, and have a chance to ask a sign language interpreter about what they do.

No previous experience is needed, just a positive learning attitude. You do need to register to attend. Contact Richmond Library to book your spot.
