Power yoga and Acro Yoga with YogaSoc at Jack Mann auditorium (UC) in the theatre room. Free class, no partner required, bring water.
All levels welcome!

About Acroyoga:

Acroyoga is a physical practice which combines yoga, acrobatics and therapeutics. Acroyoga includes many types of partner and group acrobatics in which at least someone is lifted. It develops trust as it requires to trust in the other person to do the movements. Acro also helps to improve self confidence as you can see your body being able to do so many things. Some consider acro as a kind of meditation as it requires lots of concentration in the present moment.

About the Teachers:

The main yoga teacher is Chay. He teaches power yoga. Some wednesday we bring new teachers to give specials classes.

The main acro yoga Teachers are Alison and Michael. However, we bring teachers from all over New Zealand to teach here bringing a different acro perspective and also for putting together the all amazing professionals we have here, especially in Christchurch.
