Ghanaian Yaw Asumadu formed Ozi Ozaa (‘Work and Happiness’) back in 2008. A groundbreaking fusion band packed full of funk and jazz with sweet Highlife and traditional African rhythms. In 2018 Yaw moved with his kiwi wife and family to Hamilton and has reformed Ozi Ozaa with outstanding musicians who have previously played in kiwi acts such as Batucada Sound Machine, The Jews Brothers, Mamaku Project, the Scribes of Ra, Ijebu Pleasure and many others.
Special guest Arua is a multi instrumentalist and songwriter from the Solomon Islands.
