Writing Children's Fiction Workshop

This workshop will discuss how to create compelling, credible characters, organise your ideas and experiences into gripping plots, and shape them both into engaging stories. Melinda Szymanik will talk about how to find the right words to really make your prose shine, and opportunities for publication. This is also a chance to ask all the questions you might have about being an author and getting published in New Zealand.​​

The workshop costs $25 and afternoon tea will be served. Registration required the Hamilton Book Month website.

​The Trust Waikato Building is on Little London Lane, off London Street, Hamilton. The Trust has a sizable carpark and there's lots of parking outside and close by.
