R16

Nestled between the Waikato river, rolling greenery, and NZ’s major state highway intersection, lies Tirau- a corrugated iron paradise. Nothing has ever happened here, but now Nigel, valued* community member and tractor admirer, has disappeared and the people of the town are perplexed, anxious, and a little worried that if they don’t find him in time, Nigel may return as some sort of zombie. Fortunately, the neighbourhood committee is on the case, but they need your help!

Where’s Nige? is an interactive & improvised comedy that follows the disappearance of beloved** Tirau resident Nigel. Can you help Jo, mother of two and community activist; Steve, a family man and self acclaimed Bear Grylls; and Johann, a tortured soul and mediocre poet, as they race against time to find Nige***. Now it’s your chance to ask questions, make deductions, and find out what’s been going on; why Jo’s husband has developed a passion for cheap pies, why Johann is sweating from his eyelids, and why Steve never washes his socks.

Three nights only! On from the 25th-27th November (Thursday-Saturday), 6:30pm, at Thistle Hall. Limited tickets available. All tickets koha.

Devised and performed by Emma Barrett, and directed by Sameena Zehra.

Presented by Warped Productions.
