Bear witness for the first time ever, to two of Wellington’s pre-eminent Balkan music ensembles sharing the stage in the spirit of cooperation and community. Like sauerkraut and sausage, they will come together in a beautiful union of complimentary flavours and textures that will light a fire in your soul and under your feet.

‘Bazurka are a motley crew of virtuosic firebrands, coming together to present their fresh take on Balkan gypsy and folk music. Intricate and exotic melodies, driving rhythms and tear jerking ballads are all on the menu as this seven piece powerhouse present some of the best music to come out of Serbia, Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria and more.’
