Wake Up Happy with Birgit Saunders

If we want to be truly happy and free from suffering,
we must learn how to control our mind – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Modern Buddhism

Even though we wish to be happy every day of our life, our mind can be habitually trapped in narrow, uninspired, negative ways of thinking.

Such thoughts leave us feeling tired, dissatisfied and wondering whether this is all that life has to offer.

On this course you can learn effective meditations that enable you to wake up happy and greet each day feeling positive and inspired.

Discover how it is possible to turn every encounter into an opportunity to deepen your appreciation of life and the people around you.

Happiness is a part of the mind, so its real causes must come from within the mind.
Gaining control over our mind gives us the freedom to respond to any situation without disturbing our inner peace, and the power to maintain a happy mind regardless of what is happening in our life.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could simply choose not to be unhappy? On this course, we can learn how to make a determined choice to follow thoughts and ideas that lead to happiness and learn to change negative emotional habits. In this way, we can wake up with happiness every day and know that we have the power to always do this!

This half-day workshop will consist of practical teachings and guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful, positive feeling in the mind and that will help you to wake up happy.
Everyone is welcome.
