Wainui Teddy Bears Picnic

Want to make the most of our warm summer days? Take the kids, your picnic blanket and of course, a Teddy and join in the fun at our fantastic picnic in the park.

Start the day with a short wander through the majestic old forest of Wainuiomata Recreation Area down at Gums Meadow. Then, enjoy some fun outdoor games, grab a movie snack and watch ‘Christopher Robin’ in a beautiful setting with your Teddy. The movie will start at 1:30pm.

Christopher Robin is now a family man living in London when he receives a surprise visit from his old childhood pal, Winnie-the-Pooh. With Christopher's help, Pooh embarks on a journey to find his friends Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, Piglet, Rabbit, Kanga and Roo. Once reunited, the lovable bear and the gang travel to the big city to help Christopher rediscover the joy of life.
