Valentine's Day Movie - Auckland Live Summer in the Square

This Valentine's Day we're letting you choose the film! Head over to our Facebook page from Fri 22 Jan and vote for the movie you'd most like to see on the Aotea Square big screen: La La Land or Some Like It Hot.

Don't forget to come early to secure your spot, bring something comfy to sit on, have a bite to eat, and catch the pre-movie entertainment.

La La Land [2016] - starring Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling
Mia, an aspiring actress, serves lattes to movie stars in-between auditions while Sebastian, a jazz musician, scrapes by playing cocktail party gigs in dingy bars. But as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart.

Two musicians witness a mob hit and struggle to find a way out of the city before they are found by the gangsters. Their only opportunity is to join an all-girl band as they leave on a tour. To make their getaway, they must first disguise themselves as women, then keep their identities secret and deal with the problems this brings - such as an attractive bandmate and a very determined suitor.
