Ultimate Athlete - Mount Maunganui Obstacle Race

Be apart of New Zealand's very first Ultimate Athlete obstacle course race and compete for the first-ever NZ Ultimate Athlete title!

- If you want to compete competitively - enter our Ultimate Beast Elite and to win $5000 for first place male and female categories.

Saturday, June 12th Races

Waves start from 10:00 am

- Ultimate Beast 10km
Waves start from 12:00 pm

- Ultimate Beast Elite 10km + Prize money for 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Waves start from 12:00 pm

- Ultimate Teams 6km & 10km $149

- Ultimate Schools - 4km
Intermediate Schools Race: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Secondary Schools Race: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

- Ultimate Kids - 1km or 2km
Starts at 5:00 pm

The race is a picturesque run around Mt Maunganui base track followed by world-class obstacles on Mt Drury and our main Mount beach. There are different levels of difficulty and something for everyone. Sign up now and be a part of the first of what is set to be an iconic NZ sports event

Elite Registration:
To be eligible for the prize money, you must register as an elite athlete. All elite athletes will be required to wear an Ultimate Athlete T-Shirt so you can clearly be identified as elite by officials and spectators.

1st Place $5000 NZD
2nd Place $1000 NZD
3rd Place $500 NZD

Prizes awarded for the top 3 place-getters in each category. The award ceremony will take place after the final individual crosses the finish line/latest possible time.

*Only Elite Athletes are eligible for prize money.
