Getting there:
This event is at TOPEC, Hydro Road, south of Burgess Park. Please take extreme care when entering/ leaving Hydro Road from/to Main Highway.
Parking is available on site at Topec (carpool if possible).
Registration
Those who enter by Friday, 12th November go into an early bird prize draw to win one of three prizes of $20.
ALL entrants must go to registration to receive their event number.
Registration is available in Main Lodge Topec from 8.30 am.
Early Bird Entry tickets until 6.00pm Friday 25th February 2022 (online entries will have a 50c bank transaction fee added).
Entries accepted on the day up to 9.30am (9.00am for 9.5km walkers).
$2.00 from each Entry Fee will be donated to TOPEC.
Safety Briefing
9.50am front of main foyer.
Start Time
9.5km walkers start at 9.30am.
Because of nature of courses and certain restrains there will be a staggered start.
9.5km runners start at 10.00am.
All 5.0km competitors will go next and finally the 2.2km people will head off.
Events
All courses are unfortunately not really pushchair friendly. Distances are approximate.
2.2km: Probably the pick for young children/families and if you want to give a pushchair a go.
5.0km flat: For those who can`t manage the hills.
5.0km Lake Challenge: A good steady climb up to Lake Mangamahoe and back.
9.5km course: A combination of both 5.0km courses.
Prizegiving:
Will be held in front of the Main Lodge at 11.30am or after last entrant has finished.
ALL finish entrants go into the spot prize draw and must be there to collect their prize if their name is called.
Food and Beverage:
There will be a BBQ, Coffee Cart, and Mr. Kool Ice Cream available.
