The Original Blarney Boys

Andy Craw and Robbie Lavën, performing a mixture of Blues, Irish and favourite covers.

Andy is originally from Bellshill, Scotland, and has been performing since he was seventeen years old. Now native to Tauranga, Andy is best known as one half of the duos ‘The Blarneys’ with Chris Gunn, and ‘The Original Blarney Boys’ with Robbie Lavën.

Robbie is a multi-instrumentalist including fiddle, washboard and Yank Rachell inspired mandolin. He was captured by blues during the American folk and blues revival in the sixties and was a member of the ‘Mad Dog, Jug, Jook And Washboard Band’, experimental blues band ‘Molly’ and ‘Red Hot Peppers’.
