The Nifty Markets are back for 2021, and we have teamed up with the Isaac Theatre Royal to host a market in one of the most iconic, historic buildings in Christchurch.

Come down on a Friday evening after work to shop some locally curated goods (with a focus on preloved and vintage clothing), listen to some live tunes, grab a drink and hop on a guided tour for a behind the scenes look at the building!

The Isaac Theatre Royal is the spiritual heart of Canterbury’s arts scene; an iconic theatrical venue that has played host to spectacular shows and spellbound audiences for more than a century.

They don’t make buildings like this anymore, anywhere. The ITR is a beautifully restored heritage theatre, boasting a decor and atmosphere modern theatres will never capture. With Edwardian architecture at its core, the building has been developed added to and rebuilt over the years.

The ITR are a charitable trust who rely on a small number of sponsors, venue hire, and donations from the local community to cover operational costs.

Koha on entry (a gold coin donation or whatever you can afford) which goes to helping with the costs involved in the maintenance and development of the Theatre.

Important Note:
This event is a cold coin donation on entry, there are no tickets to attend this event.
