The Harcourts Geraldine Festival: CANCELLED

Join us in picturesque Geraldine, South Canterbury, for 3 days of festival, kicking off with the Alpine Energy Art & Photography Awards on Thursday night. The exhibition is open all weekend - view great art and and even purchase your very own piece.

On Friday, the festival really gets swinging with the Main Street Market Day. With the road closed, there is plenty of space to stroll the stalls and boutique retail stores, between sampling delicious products and visiting local cafes. Expect live music, lots of variety, plus cafes galore.

On Saturday the action shifts to the Geraldine Domain, under the majestic leafy trees, where hundreds of stalls are nestled on this beautiful space. The Battle of the Sounds will provide entertainment throughout the day as a range of talented musicians vie for the top spots and great prize money. Choose from a range of interesting lunch options at the Food Vans and sit in the sun while soaking up the atmosphere.

For a different pace check out the open open gardens - open right throughout the festival - or the classic car display, take a forest walk or wander the street art around town. All this and so much more will have you excited to spend the whole festival weekend in Geraldine.
