The Great Backpacker's Race

The great backpacker’s race is an event about intercultural relationships in the Waikato. Children will be placed into teams and then compete against other teams in challenges and activities. They will have to answer clues that will lead them to their next booth. Each booth representing a different culture in the Waikato. Kids will then have to complete each booth challenge before gaining the clue to the next booth. Earning point for completing challenges and there team work and sprit.
Waikato intercausal fund is aiming to encourage and empower the people of the Waikato to remove barriers to cultural inclusion and embrace an intercultural worldview.
