The Home of Live Comedy is BACK with a Covid Free(ish) Christmas Season

UPDATE : NZ's favourite comedians are itching to get back on stage at The Classic. It's not quite The Christmas Season we originally planned but it certainly will be stacked with some keen performers. And we will be following all the fresh protocols as part of the Covid-19 Protection Framework.

TIP: Capacity will be limited so early booking recommended.

The SHOW:

Everyone wants a gig so we will try and cram as many comedians in to each show as possible. 10+ Pro comedians in a 2 hour plus show.
Full details of who is performing will be available on the individual show listings.

BOOKINGS , SEATING & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Valid Vaccine Passes will be required for all patrons, staff and comedians. These will be scanned at the Front Door prior to entry. Valid Vaccine Passes will also be required when booking in advance on Eventfinda. All members of your bubble / group will require a Valid Vaccine Pass.

Masks are optional while seated, drinking and laughing. We recommend mask use when ordering drinks or using the toilet facilities.

Contact Tracing using our QR code will be required.

Capacity is limited to 60 people in the Main Venue in order to maintain acceptable social distancing between tables & bubbles .

Seating is cabaret style with options for Exclusive 'Bubble' Tables;
Single General Admit $32
Exclusive Table of 2 - $64 ($32 ea)
Exclusive Table of 4 - $120 ($30 ea)
Exclusive Table of 6 - $180 ($30 ea)
Exclusive Table of 10 - $280 ($28 ea)

Just book the required number of tables and add a single General admission, if required, to suit your 'Bubble' group size.

CATERING / FOOD OPTIONS:
We have a regular Bar Snack Venue which can be ordered on the night.

We do not offer any full meal / dining options but our showtime of 8pm suits those who wish to dine before coming to the show.

Check out Tanuki's Sake Bar & Restaurant which is right next door!! They have a function room for larger groups - early bookings essential.

BOOKING OPTIONS: We recommend Prior Bookings and cannot guarantee door sales will be available.

REFUNDS - In the event of a Covid lockdown full refunds will be available or a transfer to the next best available date, after the lockdown.

If your Vaccine Pass fails at the door a credit will be provided for your return.

The Classic is a licensed bar. This show is strictly R18.
Mature adult content that may offend some people.
Anyone looking under 25 will be asked for ID in the form of : NZ Driver's License, Passport or HNZ 18+ Card.
Entry will not be granted to minors, those without ID or intoxicated persons.
