The Classic Comedy All-Stars 2021

Every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30pm it's the main event of the week featuring our favourite headliners, along with the rising stars and the pick of our new faces. There is a fresh line-up every week which you can check the details of on our website if they are not already listed here.

Sat 1 May : A Comedy All-Stars Special featuring many of the comedians appearing at The Classic in the 2021 NZ Comedy Fest including MC Rhys Mathewson with Ray O'Leary, Sera Devcich, Patch Lambert, Heta Dawson, Courtney Dawson, Lolsy Byrne (Ireland), James Malcolm and more.

The Classic is a world class comedy club, according to all our international friends and customers, fully licensed and seated cabaret style with a full range of beverages and a snack menu.

This is the ideal night out for family, friends, the social network or your workmates or office party.
GROUPS! If you are more than just a Table of Six we recommend you book, under the same name, multiple Tables of Six plus additional Tables of 4 or 2 to make up your Final Numbers. You will all be seated together on the night. Any tabs can be set up and settled on the night with the Classic Team. Email info@comedy.co.nz with any queries about your booking for the Summer Season.

If we happen to experience a 'Covid Lockdown' rest assured your booking will be refunded or honoured at a future similar show in our regular programme. The Classic will always remain open at Level 1 or Level 2.

This venue is on the ground floor and has wheelchair access.

The Classic Bar, Venue & box office are open from 7 pm.
For all shows, we recommend arriving 15 mins before the show starts.
All seating is allocated by the Duty Manager on the night based on pre-sales advised from Eventfinda and door sales. Usually, it is first in, first to the front.
Bookings under the same name will be seated together.
Seating is cabaret-style with the best tables at the front.
Latecomers are not guaranteed entry unless they hold pre-purchased ticket.

The Classic is a licensed bar requiring all minors (under 18) to be accompanied by THEIR parent at all times.
Anyone looking under 25 will be asked for ID in the form of NZ Driver's License, Passport or HANZ 18+
This show is a strict R18
Entry will not be granted to minors, those without ID or intoxicated persons.
