Join host John Shearlock from Regional Wines for a dram or four in the cozy confines of The Library bar, at this low key whisky tasting with a high-end lineup.

As the name suggests, this is a casual tasting and you can taste knowing what the whiskies are or blind if you prefer a bit of guesswork. Purchase a ticket, rock up, grab a beer from the bar and then taste your way through four stunning whiskies.

Here's the lineup...

1) Springbank 'Madeira Cask Finish' 17 years old 47.8% - 14 years in ex-rum and ex-bourbon barrels, then the last three in fresh Madeira casks.

2) SMWS 10.188 “New Acquaintance” (Bunnahabhain) 14 Years Old 62.5 % - Refill Ex-sherry Butt.

3) Highland Park The Dark 17 Years Old 52.9% - exclusively matured in sherry seasoned oak casks.

4) A mystery whisky served totally blind on the night to keep us all guessing.

Join us at The Library bar in Wellington for four intriguing drams and a dose of decent whisky discussion and banter.

An information sheet on all the whiskies will be provided and open conversation and discussion around the drams will be encouraged.
