The Arvo Show with 'Round October

After meeting through music school, Grace Slaughter, Matt Nisbet and Ryder Smith quickly discovered a shared enthusiasm for collaboration and sharing their gifts with others, leading to the formation of ‘Round October.

Since realising her gift as a child, Grace has continually shared her song, all the while developing her sound; always listening. An eclectic taste and love for jazz informs her silky, yet powerful vocal. Talented guitarist Matt grew up listening to artists such as Steely Dan and Jeff Buckley, and has sculpted an alternative sound that fuses the worlds of Rock, Indie and Jazz. Ryder, the funky dude holding down the beat in this trio, grew up listening to classics like Foo fighters and Queen. Then later discovering a love of Jazz in his high-school years loves to blend the worlds of rock and jazz together in his playing.
