THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO MARCH 2022.
The symposium, organised by Taonga Tū Heritage Bay of Plenty, will be a chance for interested members of the public to engage with local heritage groups and experts around the theme of ‘successful bi-cultural partnerships’.
The symposium will have a two-part afternoon and evening format, and feature as keynote speakers local Maori notable Jack Thatcher and well-known digital entrepreneur Sir Ian Taylor (from Dunedin.) Master of Ceremonies is Bishop Sir David Moxon.
Other speakers are Lizzie Marvelly, Archbishop Philip Richardson, Anne Blyth, Shane Te Ruki and Colin Reeder.
