Taputeranga Community Snorkel Day

Come on down to Princess Bay on Wellington’s South Coast with Mountains to Sea Wellington and hop in the waters of Taputeranga Marine Reserve where we will be exploring the wonders of a protected marine environment. New snorkelers are encouraged (but you must be able to swim). Wetsuits, snorkels, flippers, experienced guides and safety gear are provided.

You don’t need to book, just turn up and register for the next available snorkel tour. This is a popular event, so turn up early to make sure you don’t miss out.

If you register to attend on the Facebook event, you’ll receive important information and updates, including location changes due to weather (If the swell is up at Princess Bay, we may move the event to Island Bay.)

What to bring: Togs, towel, sunhat, camera, warm clothes.

Please note the minimum age is 8 years, and children below 16 must be accompanied by a snorkelling adult.
