Takadimi

Takadimi blends Indian, jazz and world musical forms. The band leader Manjit Singh is most popular tabla player and Indian music figure in New Zealand. He has performed and collaborated with many local and international musicians. Manjit will be joined by his better half Daljeet, who is a phenomenal singer and expertise in North Indian classical singing.

The band will perform their originals and a selection of Jazz and world music numbers. Enjoy the tabla grooves, ancient ragas with a swing of Jazz in it.
