Sunset Boulevard

KAHA Theatre proudly presents Sunset Boulevard, a magnificent tale of faded glory and unfulfilled ambition. Silent movie star Norma Desmond longs for a return to the big screen, having been forgotten by tinsel town for the last twenty years, with the advent of “talkies". Her glamour has faded in all but her mind, but when she meets struggling Hollywood screenwriter Joe Gillis, their subsequent relationship leads to an unforeseen and tragic conclusion. Based on the 1950 Billy Wilder film noir of the same name and set to the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, this show is set when Hollywood was at its height!
