St. Andrew's Concert

Concert St. Andrews Church 2pm – 4pm. The concert will feature Marsha Stringer and Lissa Cowie both of whom trained at the Royal Academy in London and have played in various orchestras and at various venues in Britain and Europe. Lois Johnston a soprano who trained in Scotland and has performed in various venues overseas and in New Zealand. She teaches and lectures in voice at Canterbury University. Elin Tomos who trained as a mezzo-soprano in London. Elgee Leung who has trained and played overseas and Olivia Young(Sheat) soprano) who has just finished training at Victoria University, will also be performing. Ovation, the Girl’s College Choir, will be included in the programme plus Cara Bryant(violin) and Alexander Bryant(cello).

Works by Chaminade, Beethoven, Strauss, Popper, von Paradis, Verdi, Elgar, Offenbach, Quilter, Schubert, Puccini, Kummer, etc. will be performed.Tickets $10 available at the door. For more information contact Barry on 5787448.
